HipLife Artiste Castro Under Fire Dies In Jet Ski Incident
One of Ghana's best and award winning Hiplife artist, Castro Under Fire has reportedly died in a jet ski incident at the Peace Hotel in Ada whilst jet-skiing with friends. Detailed news from Ameyaw Debrahs site says that this occurred as he attempted to save his girlfriend who had fallen into the water from the jet ski. Meanwhile unconfirmed reports of his girlfriend also being drowned are circling social media. As to if his body has been found is still unconfirmed.
Theophilus Tagoe aka Castro was a Hiplife artist whose music was loved amongst many Ghanaian. Popular songs such as 'Odopa' Seihor, AfricaGirls have received awards and long airplay over radio waves. D-Black and Asamoah Gyan (Captain of the Black Stars) are just a few who have collaborated with him on his singles and albums. His picked up Best Highlife song of the year at this years Vodafone Music Awards.
